.Replenished Destruction.[/font][/b]
A stag as grey as the walls around him meandered meaninglessly through the harsh terrain, not caring if a hoof should be misplaced. His thoughts revolved around nothing in particular, for nothing caught his eye. It was all, plain grey. Just as unwanted as him.
He peered down at the scars he wore on his legs, knowing how they came to be. No one loved him. No one needed him. Why should they need me? I have not spoken to another equine, let alone being, in my pitiful, useless life. Words tumbled from his mind, though not escaping. Why would they need to escape? There are none who should hear, or would bother to hear anyway.
Another day in this worthless life. Waiting for justice to find him. None shall ever know him, none have ever tried. As he sluggishly walked up the harsh ridges, a rock fell from above, clattering to a stony death below. Shattered to a thousand shiny pieces. Would he be that lucky?
He came to the top of the reckless ridge ungratefully. Curse my unwanted balance, I should've fallen. But no, I am not capable of doing such a thing to myself. It has to be accidental. Heavy sarcasm ran fluently inside his mind, where none could enter.
Uncaged anger ran through his system, though he knew not why. The wind hissed, scouring his forlorn features. He edged silently to where he had seen the rock fall. Nothing was to be seen. The stony grey twisting rock was long gone. He stamped a battered hoof onto the hard terra, creating another rock to fall. As it fell through the air, it did so with grace, twisting and turning like a ballerina.
Oddly captivated by the colorless chasm he began to look over the ridge he had reached. Barren. Useless. No shelter. Just like him. A perfect match. A clone from the world. None could ever understand the connection he felt with the wasteland. It was exactly like him, unwanted, stone cold, barren, useless. How much more perfect could it get?
A bugle call sang through his lips, reaching the ears of any near enough to hear. It stated clearly enough, this land was his, and he shall massacre any who got in his way.
.You Can't Destroy What's Already Gone.
